Two bivouac areas accomodate hikers and canoers going don the canyon in two days - Gaud and Gournier. Camping is prohibited except in the designated areas of Gaud and Gournier.
To book an overnight stop at one of the bivouacs you must contact the Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin d'Ardèche or the Centrale de réservation de Vallon Pont d'Arc or reserve online at www.gorgesdelardeche.fr
On the premises, facilities include cold showers, toilets and drinking water, large barbecues, picnic tables and community tents for 20 people; park rangers will meet you with necessary information.
Prior to departure hikers must check with the weather forecast and the water level, as they are fording the river twice.
